Ease of maintenance and inspections
Maintenance requirements are minimal, since enclosed permanent grease lubrication systems are used to lubricate all parts. The simple structure allows easy disassembly—for example, if necessary to replace the cutter.

High flow rate handling (with attached screen)
An arc-shaped horizontal screen enables processing of large volumes of sewage, while a scraping rake prevents screen clogging to ensure the equipment operates in a clean and stable state.

Waterway installation type: Deployed in waterway of grit chamber at treatment facility or relay pump station
In-line type: Deployed in inlet/outlet pipe of sludge condensation equipment or sludge digestion tank facility
Horizontal-type: Deployed in the latter stage of automatic particle-screening equipment or in sludge incineration equipment
The following options are available:
Submersible motor:
Capable of operating continuously for a while under water in case of an emergency
Stainless-steel cutter:
Suitable for sewage treatment plants in corrosive environments, such as near-shore areas, hot spring districts, or industrial parks
Ceramic cutter:
Designed exclusively for the in-line type SUMICUTTER model; highly resistant to abrasion and corrosion
Extension shaft:
The motor may become submerged in the waterway when installed in deep waterways. In such cases, an extension shaft allows the motor to be installed above water.
Control panel:
This dedicated control panel allows easy, comfortable operation of the SUMICUTTER. Since it is provided with an automatic overload-activated reverse rotation function, the equipment can be installed at a place where there are not enough workers.
