SUMIJETTER II low-powered jet pump-type sand lifter system

The SUMIJETTER II sand-lifting system features a low-powered jet pump for use in grit chamber at sewage treatment plants or pump stations.

A conventional transport system is an open system that incorporates grit scrapers, conveyors, skip hoists, and other equipment. In comparison, SUMIJETTER II deploys a jet pipe for transport between the grit chamber and grit separator, eliminating the need for mechanical transport equipment. Because it incorporates fewer components, the system significantly reduces maintenance locations and allows more flexible layouts for maximum work site convenience. With closed systems, the product also makes it possible to cover the grit chamber and use transfer piping to minimize unpleasant odors. This easy-to-maintain system has been deployed at many sites in recent years.

Ordinary jet pump-type sand-lifting equipment requires significant power for the high- pressurizing pump. In response, we modified the internal structure of the ejector and developed sand-lifting equipment that drastically reduces power consumption.
